What is your return policy?

Your complete satisfaction is our primary concern. Exchanges/refunds are gladly made within two weeks of purchase (upon receipt of parcel) provided the item is in new/undamaged condition, with the exception of customs orders, layaways, special orders and items modified for the customer. Because of the nature of these exceptional sales, they must be final. All returned shipments must be insured for the entire value of the item(s). Please contact us for specifics if you intend to return an order. We credit your account once the pieces arrive intact.

I would feel more comfortable if I could call you and discuss the specifics of a piece before making my purchase. Is that okay?

We are glad to speak with you about your selection. Please call our toll free number (888-586-8655) or email us. Our winter hours are: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 am-5:30 pm, AST (1 hour earlier than PST)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. We accept personal checks if they are guaranteed with a credit card. We cannot accept payment by money order or cashier's check. Shipping addresses must match cardholder billing addresses, unless pre-approved--please call us if shipping is to another address. Shipment will be made after payment is approved. Unfortunately, because of fraudulent internet practices, we absolutely cannot accept orders through Relay calls for the hearing impaired. Please make those orders via email. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also, tracking numbers are confidential until we determine cause for releasing them. Tracking numbers will not be disclosed at time of order. This is an anti-crime measure.

Is there sales tax?

There is a local sales tax for the Juneau area, but mail orders are exempt. The State of Alaska has no sales tax.

Who is responsible for customs charges for items sent outside the US?

The customer is responsible for all customs, VAT or other taxes associated with shipment to their country. Please be familiar with your country's customs timeline for processing before placing your order. We do not have the ability to track parcels in foreign post offices or customs. Please allow up to 3 weeks for customs processing in most foreign countries. Our refund timeline begins upon actual receipt of merchandise.

Canadian customers please be aware that Canada does not acknowledge the International Marine Mammal Protection Act qualifications for fossilized ivory, and it is possible your shipment of Jenny Byrne ivory jewelry may be confisgated by Canadian Customs and destroyed. Therefore, orders for Jenny Byrne Ivory will not be accepted for shipment to Canada.

Is your store open all year?

Yes, rain or snow (and every once in a while, sunshine ;-) we are open year round right here in beautiful downtown Juneau, Alaska!
